Hello I am Rick Petko, most people know me from being on Discovery Channels American Chopper series, long before TV I was involved in doing all sorts of metal work, out of high school I worked in one of Bethlehem Steel’s buildings being a crane operator and a coldsaw operator, from there I went on to welding school to get involved in nascar chassis building. I stayed local and worked at Pocono Raceway at the driving school for 5 years and with a Hooters Pro Cup race team. I got involved in industrial contracting relining kilns and furnaces for 10 years up and down the East Coast, from crematoriums to relining ladles to giant heattreat furnaces, aluminum foundry furnaces and precious metal ovens, from there I moved on to auto restorations which led me to Orange County Choppers in New York for 13 years. In 2016 I left OCC to be closer to home and family and joined up with Pocono Mountain Harley Davidson running a full custom fab shop in the dealership. Back in 2006 I started RPD & Co to give myself my own creative outlet, building vintage race bikes, custom welding, metalwork, handforgeing custom knifework and wedding bands. This is all done at my home shop on our farm in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania.
